TaSTe – The Parable of Talents

The TaSTe crew enjoyed another afternoon of fun, food and fellowship this week. A new Wii game featuring penguins was a resounding hit. Julie cornered the market in talents during the story (you had to be there!)

As usual their undoubted talent for pizza demolition was duly exercised. However this time there was also pudding – jelly thanks to Jake and chocolate ice cream – no fear all was safely devoured!

See you all again next month for more TaSTeful activities.

Taste – Tuesday 12th October

Taste meets this week on its regular 2nd Tuesday of the month slot. It is open to all children associated with GraceSpace and their friends.

We meet this Tuesday 12th October – 3.45-5.30pm @ 6 Glenhurst Road.

Julie Wilkinson will be with us again which is excellent news. There will be usual mix of games, food, fun and faith and everyone is welcome. Hopefully there may also be some new games for the Wii.

Yesterday at TaSTe as well as enjoying a variety of games on the Wii and demolishing an amazing amount of pizza, we retold the parable of the good Samaritan using storyboards. The story was divided into six episodes all of which the children illustrated wonderfully. Here is Sarah’s version. The remainder of the photographs can be found on our Facebook page.

WaSTe is becoming TaSTe again

Our Wednesday after school group is moving to Tuesdays and therefore we are able to restore the old name. No longer will we be the Wasters but now we will become those who ‘Taste’…and see that the Lord is good. Our first meeting is this Tuesday 21st September – 3.45-5.30pm @ 6 Glenhurst Road.

Julie Wilkinson will be making a triumphant return after her 6 month break and we look forward to welcoming back.

We are also broadening the age range to take account of the growing number of children associated with GraceSpace. There will be usual mix of games, food, fun and faith and everyone is welcome.
