About 60 people from churches all over Shipley came together for an act of witness to commemorate Good Friday.

We began at St Paul’s with a time of prayer and reflection led by Colin. Then we set off towards the Market Place. On the way we stopped outside the Town Hall to pray for the community life of Shipley. The prayers were led by Reg from the Salvation Army.

We completed our journey by gathering in the Market Square where a short service of hymns and readings was held, led by the Salvation Army Band. Sue Hope spoke briefly about the meaning of Good Friday.
